I’m an experimental mixed-media artist working primarily with biomaterials.
My practice is driven by experimentation, intuition and curiosity about materials that don’t always behave as expected. I work with food-based and other biomaterials alongside rope, textiles, found and industrial materials, allowing texture, colour, fragility and transformation to shape the work.
Moving between sculpture, collage and material experimentation, I’m interested in the relationships between organic and manufactured matter, permanence and change, and what happens when I give materials space to behave on their own terms.
I’m based in Lithuania.
